Roberta Pugno. Terrafuoco
Terrafuoco, or "Land" (matter) and "Fire" (energy): the artist Roberta Pugno presents a selection of 20 recent paintings.
Two concepts that exemplify the continuous movement from the visible to the invisible, from the figurative to pure matter, from perceived reality to an immaterial dimension in which the colour releases its energy. The artist, born in Bolzano and working in Rome, began to exhibit her works in the 1980s, after graduating in philosophy with Carlo Ginzburg. A cultural matrix that permeates all her works. She has exhibited in many public and private museums and galleries, including Palazzo Valentini in Rome in 2008, and Castel Sant'Angelo and Palazzo Venezia in 2009.
